Vacation Log Cabins: An Escape and an Experience

When you took your last vacation, did a log cabin come to mind? Vacation log cabins are a fun and exciting way to get out of the big city, away from all of the noise and pollution, and get in touch with nature at the same time. Offering all of the same amenities as you would find at home, such as a refrigerator or a bad, vacation log cabins are an excellent and often overlooked experience.

The experience doesn’t have to be something akin to “roughing it”- you can pack the kids, a Sony Playstation, and a TV and simply have a relaxing evening in, overlooking the beautiful countryside or lakefront. Many vacation log cabins are located on or near lakes, which means you can have some time in the water to cool off and get some exercise.

Looking to go up north? Log cabins in the ski hills give you a warm place to hang your hat (and boots) after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. Throw some wood in the fire, warm up a mug of hot chocolate, and simply sit back and relax.

Vacation log cabins can be just about anything that you want them to be: a refuge, a safe house, a dock, or a second home.
